reconect hangs within "Reconnecting ..."

Description

I usually suspend and resume my computer without problems but with the 2.5.7 (beta) version it did hang. This issue can not be reproduced easily.
Attached is the error.log and a stacktrace of Spark hanging in this state.

The menu of Spark (also the one in the task bar / tray icon) did still work fine, I did select exit there to leave Spark.

spark-Capture-1.zip contains a screen shot, thread dump and error.log of Spark hanging during reconnect but this time the "Reconnecting ..." button is not displayed. For me this is the 2nd time that Spark hangs in this state with 2.5.7 final.

I've toggled the various resource settings here as suggested and they do not make a difference as far as this issue is concerned.
