Customer reported multiple apparent issues with trying to run spark on a 64-bit Linux platform. For an example, the tray icon does not work. There are other show stopper issues as well. Per the customer, "It won't really work at all. I think it's due to your native methods for the tray icon, etc. These are easily recreated using a 64bit jre."

The TrayIcon problem was fixed with commit 10966. Now we don't use JDIC!

I am testing 2.5.7 on OpenSuse 10.3 on AMD64. It failed completely using the 64bit Java 1.6 U3 JRE. So I fell back to the included 32bit package and it works but it does not go to the tray. Other people can successfully send messages to me but I have no access to the application until they do.
