Description

At this time, Spark is unable to run on 64 bit environment due to JDIC limitations. Will need to get more info from the JDIC guys to get this going.

Spark is running on Windows x64 systems and i dont recall any report about it aint running on Linux x64 systems. also it seems to be duplicated.

Windows, Linux and documentation on how to make 64-bit machines work on different platforms.

  • Don't get the build with the bundled JRE

Would be nice if the correct JDIC library was loaded based on OS.

From duplicated issue, a fix for Linux: http://www.reucon.com/~srt/jdic-linux-64bit-libs.tgz

I am having a heck of a time getting any response from the JDIC guys regarding 64 bit computers. I'm going to move this out until i can get some concrete answers on this.
