Setting a custom trust manager to can control the certificates from outside, like asking the users with UI dialog do they trust this particular certificate and remember their choice.

Provide a custom SSLContext to set the TrustManager

Instead of only making the TrustManager configurable it would be much more flexible if the whole SSLContext could be configured. We do this in aSmack with this tiny little patch since 3 years: https://github.com/Flowdalic/smack/commit/19438d9dce9ac1ae466973487a65732c575b63f6
