displaying of chat log with "<script" within the message causes trouble

I have a problem with XML transcript. When there is some kind of code - e.g. "<script
...." - then in XML transcript it is stored correctly as "<script
...", but in history view of spark transcript ends before this code and rest of transcript is displayed.

writing "& lt ;foo>" will be displayed as "& lt ; foo>" but if one closes the window and opens it again it will be displayed as <foo> ... looks to be related to the <script problem.
