If conferences tab is hidden, then Fastpath tab is hidden also

Description

If "Show conference service in tab (requires restart)" is not selected, then the Fastpath tab is not showing up also. It should show two tabs in that case i think: Contacts and Fastpath. Disabling Fastpath tab via additional option has no sense as there are too many stuff to put it in some other menu and it is obvious, if you are the agent, then you want to see that tab all the time.

No, I didn't touch Fastpath. Maybe this is a side effect. How can I test it?. I added the fastpath jar under .Spark/plugins - anything else I need to do to verify the issue? The faspath tab does not display for me...

You have to install Fastpath Service on you Openfire server, then just add your user to demo workgroup's Default queue as an agent. Then restart your Spark and you should get the Fastpath tab near the conference tab (if that setting is turned on).

This is not a 2.7.0 issue. I have tested this with 2.6.3. Hiding of conference tab was introduced in 2.6.3 version already.

Also affects 2.6.3. Workaround: Check Show Conferences in Tab. This is default. Downgrading severity to Minor.

Has been introduced during 2.6.0 development via the introduction of the Appearance Option "Show conference service in tab (requires restart)"

I created a workgroup and I added an user to Default Queue of this group. When I query the workgroup it says "Waiting for member" [Total 1, active 0]. I Restarted Spark, then logged in Spark with this user
...and still the tab does not display for me

Are you sure "Show conference service in tab (requires restart)" is turned on in your Spark?

Yes, the conference tab is turned on - It displays in Spark. Probably I am doing something wrong during fastpath plugin installation...

Maybe you should restart Openfire. Or maybe your Spark is different. You can try with the official 2.6.3 version.

-there was a piece of code that removed all tabs when there is only contact items tabs to be displayed
actually there is no safe place where this can be done - so I removed it. plugins can add tabs and we
dont know the exact moment when all plugin tabs are added in the workspace.
