Description

Openfire provides various interfaces that allow users to plugin in "Providers." No such interface exists for RosterItems though. We should consider creating one.

Is this patch likely to be included in 3.7.2? I am in the unfortunate position where my client will not allow source changes, but will allow extensions; so this would be extremely beneficial!

@RawToast The patch looks good, but we also need documentation updated. We need more developers to help push patches like this one through.
