Description

Don't rely on Sun's default settings, add either -Dnetworkaddress.cache.ttl=600 to the start parameters or make it configurable via a Wildfire Property and set it with java.security.Security.setProperty("networkaddress.cache.ttl" , system.networkaddress.cache.ttl);

One may also want to re-initialize InitialDirContext if DNS lookups fail or provide an Openfire property to do this for every lookup. This is especially useful within a (buggy) FreeBSD jail. More details and patch in http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/thread/32706?tstart=30
