one on one chats created through group chat are not archived

Description

If you turn on archiving to archive all user chats and to archive all group chats, that all works. However, with those settings turned on, if someone establishes a one on one chat through a group chat (right click on user and select "start a chat" the one on one chats are not archived.

I've run into this issue, too, in all the 3.x versions I've tried up through 3.5.1. It took us a while to diagnose. We knew we had chats that weren't being archived, but only recently found that all those chats were initiated from the conference room list instead of the contact list.

We use archiving for our internal chat server in order to make sure employees aren't using it to abusive ends. For us, this is a critical bug.

I see this issue was created some time ago, and updated several months ago. Is there any news of a fix on this one?

The server knows the real JID's of the users, so we should just pretend it's a normal one to one chat between those people for auditing purposes.
